Bolshoi Theatre
The project, carried out in 2000, had the goal to preserve relevant performances of high value in the archives of Bolshoi Theatre, Moscow. Among the recordings, there are great voices of opera.
About 200 magnetic tapes were selected and digitized, thus producing 200 CD-ROMs in two copies (original and backup).
The contents were also cataloged and organized in a database.
The project was sponsored by TDK.
