Pearson VideoStudio
VideoStudio is a software tool created by LIM that enriches the educational experience of Pearson music textbooks for the middle school.
VideoStudio embeds three functionalities in a unique web learning environment (see ▸demo), that includes:
- a karaoke with audio-score sync, color codes associated with pitches (designed for students who have specific learning disabilities), configurable metronome, possibility to start from any note of the song by selecting it with the mouse;
- a video tutorial showing three musical instruments played by professional instrumentalists;
- animations of the three instruments supporting colored pitches.
The application, based on the IEEE 1599 standard, is distributed with the text "C'è musica per tutti" by Vasco Vacchi and through the Didastore web platform.
