The Computer Science Department delivers two degree courses focusing on the research issues of LIM: Informatica musicale (Music Information Science, bachelor's degree) and Informatica (Computer science, master's degree), where a specific path is available for graduates in Informatica musicale.
Within these degrees' programs, there are courses such as: Acoustics, Music databases, IT applied to music, IT applied to sound, MIDI programming, Music programming, Music semiotics, Organization and digitization of multimedia archives, Sound synthesis (see the page of courses▸).
