Projects
National Museum of Science and Technology
In the years 2003/2004 the project for the renewal of the sound section was started at the Museum of Science and Technology in Milan. The project was sponsored by TDK Italy.
The objectives are to provide to visitors with:
- a representative overview and historical perspective of the devices for the storage, recording, production, reproduction and enjoyment of phonic information;
- an interactive station for guided explanatory presentations based on the combined use of the real/virtual instrumentation described above;
- an interactive self-service station for individual visitors and small groups, based on interaction by images and by sound, with a small amount of information in natural language.
It is worth to cite the particularly interesting software developed to simulate the creation of audio chains by combining user-selectable devices.
