HyTime, the Hypermedia/Time-based Structuring Language (ISO/IEC10744:1992), was developed in conjunction with the development of SMDL, the Standard Music Description Language (ISO/IEC CD 10743).
Although space permits only the inventors and principal developers to be named here, several hundred others contributed to the work through meeting participation and written contributions over a ten-year period.
